Voice & Audition Camp

A camp for grades 9–12 focused on solo singing, audition preparation, and performance confidence. Directed by Patrick Howle and me, the day includes work on audition etiquette, repertoire selection, a mock audition with feedback, a solo performance opportunity, and an evening meal. $50 per participant.

Five students from my studio competed at the Kansas City Chapter Student Auditions, representing undergraduate, graduate, and music-minor tracks.

Studio representation: five students represented my studio across multiple degree tracks.

Top results: two students earned first place in their respective categories.

Division range: the group included undergraduate, graduate, and music-minor singers.

I performed Mrs. Lovett in this co-production by KU’s Department of Theatre & Dance and School of Music. The production explores the psychology of the central characters through Stephen Sondheim’s score in this darkly comic tale of revenge set in London.
