Five students from my studio competed at the Kansas City Chapter Student Auditions, representing undergraduate, graduate, and music-minor tracks.

I appeared as a featured vocalist alongside Sara Flessner in the Southeast Kansas Symphony’s annual holiday program, which included selections from The Nutcracker with the Pittsburg Ballet and a special guest conductor for “Sleigh Ride.”

I participated in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Intern Program, a fully funded professional-development initiative for emerging voice teachers.

I performed as mezzo soloist with the Pittsburg State University Wind Band.

I performed as alto soloist with the Central Kansas Community Choir for their annual performance of Handel’s Messiah.

I performed Mrs. Lovett in this co-production by KU’s Department of Theatre & Dance and School of Music. The production explores the psychology of the central characters through Stephen Sondheim’s score in this darkly comic tale of revenge set in London.

I sang Diana in the world premiere of Susan Kander’s chamber opera Carry My Own Suitcase, a recipient of the 2022 Opera America Discovery Grant. The work explores themes of independence and resilience.
