Teaching Philosophy
My teaching is rooted in classical technique and shaped by the goals, experience, and artistry of each student.
Because singing is both physical and personal, I build lessons around trust, clear communication, and focused musical growth across classical, musical theatre, and jazz styles.

NATS Recognition
My teaching has been recognized through student achievement at NATS auditions and my selection for the National Association of Teachers of Singing Intern Program.

NATS Student Auditions
Five students from my studio competed at the Kansas City Chapter Student Auditions, representing undergraduate, graduate, and music-minor tracks.
Top results: two students earned first place in their categories.
Representation: undergraduate, graduate, and music-minor singers were included.
Preparation: collaborative work with pianists supported a strong showing.

NATS Intern Program
I was selected for the 2025 NATS Intern Program, a fully funded professional-development program for emerging voice teachers at the University of Louisville.
The program provides intensive mentorship in studio pedagogy, observation, and applied voice instruction for promising early-career teachers.
